A gorgeous hand made cartouched latch, intricate engraved design double end opening cigarette match safe vesta with striker. Survived in near perfection with one minor corner misfit, and remaining gold overlay apparent on verso. Case is solid with double opening. Top opens to large case holder with secret bottom latched open for match and includes well preserved striker. We were blown away at the geometric and floral patterns on front, back and top and bottom with smooth rounded sides. Hallmarked but unidentified. Marked ee, with a silversmith hallmark unidentified and 84. Double Marked on both the lid and the base.

This piece of art weighs in at 6 oz/ 166 grams.

Condition is remarkable for its age. A few minor dings. One slightly ill fitted corner.

Overall beautiful, likely Cossack Tobacco flask.

Estate find in cotton wrap and preserved without us polishing.
