Striking & Unusual Holiday Piece!

The angel behind Christmas...a beautiful blonde angel holds the Santa Claus face mask in her hands with blue mittens. She wears a long red gown with white spaghetti ruffles at wrists and across the bottom front. Three facetted crystals (rhinestones?) on collar. Shiny gold (gold leaf?)tops her halo, wings and dress trim.Has some kind of manufacturer mark engraved into pottery on back under the red glaze- maybe an N in a circle, can\'t tell. (Napco?)

Size: Approx. 5 1/2\" tall, 3\" wide, 2\" deep.

Condition Notes: Very Good Used Condition. Looks niceto display. Bell Works and Rings with full Original Clapperon wire. Spaghettiis intact. Goldlooks thick and solid,not thinning. There are a few pinholes of paint loss and maybe a couplerubs. It appears the original handpaintinghas imperfections rather than due necessarily to chipping or wear. (i.e. under the arms where the brush didn\'t hit)Typical color aging shows paint strokes in spots. In the back where wings meet, onclose inspection,there is a slight crazing/glaze chipstarting -not really noticeable. Otherwise, no chips or cracks and a very nice solid old piece- a treasure to own!
