Hi, Selling this absolutely stunning Japanese Meiji period Eldeley Saumarai Okimono figure. Now this is the most amazing quality piece I have ever owned or seen in person. The carving is stunning and obviously done by one of the best carvers of the time. It has the red seal signature which the very best pieces seem to have but I dont know the maker or what the scroll in his left hand says. The attention to detail is amazing and his gown is complately hand carved to make it stand out and his white hair stands out more on his head. I cannot put into words at actually how stunning this is and the pictures do not do it justice and is of the quality seen in the top collections and museums.It is in Excellent condition with No damages at all and looks to be carved from one solid piece (another sign of quality).He measures a large 14.5cms in height and is very heavy for his size and is marked as shown. This is an absolute must for any collection and displays really really well.
