Scarce Vintage JOSEF ORIGINALS \"MARY and BABY JESUS\" Figurine Original Foil Label Book Illustrated Mint Condition Description
- I am pleased to offer a wonderful vintage and hard to find figurine made by Josef Originals
- \"MARY and BABY JESUS\"
- She is shown on page 99 of \"Josef Originals \" by Harris & Whitaker
- She is approximately 6 1/8\" tall
- Great handpainting
- Mary is dressed in a white robe with pink shading, she holds baby Jesus wrapped in a blue blanket
- Excellent condition with no chips, cracks, hairlines or other damage or restoration
- No paint loss or wear to gold accents noted
- There are a few spots of underglaze drips of excess gold paint - all factory original
- Some typical pottery glaze crazing on underside of base
- Original Josef Originals foil label attached on side
- The base has some remnants of what was perhaps the original price tag, but I have not attempted to remove and will leave that decision to the new owner
- Please ignore white spots and streaks on all photos caused by camera flash
- This great vintage piece would make a wonderful addition to your Josef collection or a most treasured gift for someone special.
