Outstanding original antique Victorian era Valentine. Fancy LARGE stand-up piece. Heavy embossing on very heavy cardboard type piece in heart-shape. Features bright pink flowers with leaves on blue background with gold trim. Center chromolithograph shows darling child angel winged cupid in orange clothing - sitting among flowers, daisies, grass - typing a letter on typewriter made of forget-me-not flowers and greenery! \"Fond and True Love\" in bottom left corner of this piece, which is scalloped and trimmed in gold. Heavy tissue type paper held in place with original rivets to form wavy background decoration. Tissue is brown tan cream with pink flowers, greenery - all trimmed with gold. There is a small tear which is very hard to see due to the design, at the bottom center of the piece. A hole at top center (to hang the piece?) is torn through but does not detract.
