Magnificent engraved achievement by Charles Pillet, with on the face, abeautiful a portrait of Leopold Bellan with his quotes:

Pillet was born in Paris, France in1853. In Paris, he attended the École nationale supérieure desBeaux-Arts, where he was a student of Jules Clement Chaplain and HenriChapu.
He has engraved and sculpted inFrance, but has also designed and engraved coins for Greece (5 lepta1912), Romania (50 bani, 1 lei, and 2 lei), and Mexico (Caballitopeso).
In Excellent condition, punchmarked by the french counter of La Monnaiede Paris, Horn cornupia Bronze, dated 1968.
Preserved it in its own juice, wth its own patina, pictures shows youevery details.
