- From a local private collection, I am pleased to offer a wonderful vintage and rare figure made by Josef Originals
- "BLUE BIRD" from the "LOVE MAKES THE WORLD GO ROUND" series
- She is shown on page 73 of "Josef Originals" by Harris/Whitaker (1999)
- Likely circa 1970s
- With original Josef Originals Japan label on the side
- She measures 8 1/2" tall
- Great handpainting - she has the most seductive black eyes, lashes and red heart-shaped mouth
- Wearing a voluminous yellow ballgown, with attached pale pink flowers, green leaves and gold fern fronds, she holds a blue bird in her extended right hand
- Note too the matching pale attached flower in her upswept hair
- Absolutely mint condition with no chips, cracks, hairlines, other damage or restoration
- It is amazing that all the vulnerable parts (such as her hands, fingers and the bluebird) have survived completely intact all these years
- No paint loss noted
- Marked as shown in photo, with impressed Josef Originals mark
- Please ignore all white spots on all photos caused by camera flash
- This great vintage piece would make a wonderful addition to your Josef collection or a most treasured gift for someone special
