Here is a large vintage rare pair of PYREX made explosion proof glass globes and steel cages. Very hard to find a PYREX made globe like these and its a perfect matching pair. NO actual fixture comes with it just globes and cages. Great thing you can do with these is make them hanging chandeliers with the4 holesin the cage screw mounts.

The are 7 in tall and 8.5 in diameter at rim, 8 in tall including the cages. The glass globes weigh over 7 lbs each !!!and the cages are over 1.5 lbs each.These make awesome bell jars as well.

ONE globe has an uneven edge like it was jiggered when made, I wouldn\'tcall it a chip, its smooth to the touch. The other globe does have a small uneven rimchip to glass, cages are excellent. I could not get a good pic of the PYREX logo on the glass, but you can see the explosion resistant logo on the glass.
