For your consideration isanoil on canvas by listed German artist Otto Pieper. The painting is very well done and does a good job of drawing you in. It is adone with a darker pallete butit lends to the allure of the painting.There are some faintstretcher lines as well as a small amount of craquelurewith a very small loss to the paint. None of which needs to be restored in my opinion. That is however just my opinion and I will let you judge for yourself from the pictures. It is in a beautiful carved giltwood frame. There is writing on the verso that appears to be his name, the title of the painting in German, and the original price. The painting is signed lower right. The sight size of the painting is 15 x 18 inches and the frame is 21 x 26.If you have any questions or need more pictures just ask.
