Rare MEISSEN PORCELAIN hand painted, glazed figure depicting DUKATENSCHEISSER. The man is a German folklore character who was said to be made of money. Marked on base with Meissen\'s distinctive 2 blue crossed swords. Colors are vibrant and mark on bottom is clear. In need of some restoration (restore coin, fingers on left hand and nicks in brim of hat), it is still in very fine condition for its age and a playful sought after piece for a collection.
