This is a magnificent vintage English Mabie-Todd & Co. Blackbird BB 2-60 Lever -filler fountain pen.
It\'sbeautifuly decorated in gorgeous chased black hard rubber. with a lever-filler mechanism. Themechanism seem to be working. with a unique clipless screw cap. with a chrome trim lever-filler. with a Valentine 1st Quality 14 carat gold nib. with a unique comb feed. marks on the pen read, Blackbird Self-Filling Pen Mabie Todd & Co. Made in England. BB 2-60.
Condition- seem to be excellent. the lever-filler is slightly brassed.. some minor scars on the pen. The cap has a cracked lip. otherwise superb.
