Series issued 1934.
Art deco styling.
Forks: 7 ¼” long.
Knives: 8 ¾” long.
Monogram: a stylistic capital“L” at the base of each piece.
Markings: “Towle” “Sterling”“Pat 1934” “Aristocrat”
Knife blades marked “Towle”“Stainless”
Some slight scratching,barely noticeable. Please see photos.
In very good condition, withslight tarnishing at the tips of the prongs.
They have been wrapped in asoft cloth tarnish-protecting bag and have not been polished in many years.
From my great grandmother’shome in Boston, these beautiful pieces now need a new home.
I remember seeing thissilverware and other special sterling silver in our home ever since I was alittle girl and I am 60 years old!
On other online sites thefork is selling for anywhere from $65 and up and the knife for $39.
