Antique Rare Porsgrund 1909 Christmas plate

This piece is in excellent condition.

The plate was released in 1909 by Porsgrund, Norway, following the release of Bing and Grondahl\'s successful Christmas plates in 1895 and then Royal Copenhagen\'s in 1908. As with both the Danish companies it was a limited release and this particular issue consisted on only 250 plates. As such it is a rare plate and not many are available world wide. The 1908 release was not continued and it was the only Christmas plate Porsgrund made until more recent times when a limited edition series was begun in 1968.The plate is in excellent condition. The glaze is glossy and shows no faults. There are no chips or cracks. The plate measures 185mm across. Please note shipping includes insurance cover for up to AUD$2300

Refunds and Returns.

Refunds on shipping costs will be granted at our discretion based on thefollowing:
