Rare Old Vintage Antique Merry Go Round Circus Carousel Horse 1 Cent Full Size For Sale

Up for sale we have an Amazing, Fine, Beautiful, Bold, Rare, Vintage, Antique, Merry Go Round, Circus and Carnival, Large and Tall, Full Sized, "Carousel Horse" (Stander-Type) Mounted on a Wooden Stand..
Complete and All Original...
Custom Vintage Hand Painted with Beautiful Detail by a Professional Artist.. Custom Made, Full Sized, and in Wonderful Shape..
This stunning piece shows a few age related scuffs, minor paint wear and scratches which is only cosmetic and all an easy fix that can be buffed out or touched up, all of which is expected from a piece this old.. None of which takes away from how great an item this is.. It's Solid and Sturdy!..
Its condition is excellent for its age..
No visible cracking (only repair is a small 1-1/2" inch stir-up piece was reapplied with resin, photos show it missing on one side, but it has been reapplied after these photos were taken).. The body doesn't have the large splits in the body that are common with these horses.. With a little bit of work this horse could be absolutely perfect!..
(Please note: Pics may show white flaking on the paint finish and on and around the entire horse, these are not paint chips flaking, they are actual "snow flakes" as it was just starting to snow last week while I took the horse outside for better lighting while taking these pics!.. It was cold enough the flakes did not adhere and were brushed off carefully with a clean dust mop.. :D )
Very grand in presence and an impressive size.. Would make an excellentaddition to a playroom, family room,store window, etc..

This horse has been displayed in the home of a non-smoking adult collector..

Other than the above, this horse is in amazing condition.. The craftsmanship and artwork is spectacular!..

An Amazing, Bold Piece for Any Room!..
Purchased in the 1970s from an Antique Shop in Northern New Jersey..
This beautiful antique carousel horse has been in our family for over 35 years.. Affectionately called "Buttercup", this full-size horsewas originally purchased bymy parentsin the early 1970s from a private collector in North Jersey..

We have no other information about the history of this horse.. Its origin is unknown..

Carousel Horses Delight Collectors and Children of All Ages..

The horse is completely hand painted by an artist, not airbrushed..

All it takes isyour imagination as how you will present it in your preferred surroundings!.. :) This standing and jumping horse weighs approximately 50 lbs and is strong and durable..

The size is approximately 58" x 14" x 54"..

"Buttercup" is hollow, made of an unknown material; some sort of heavy duty fiberglass, composite, resin, etc..

Strong and Solid!, yet fairly light weight..

The wood box base is free standing, and can be separated from the horse as well as its hair-like tail, and is made of a combination of solid wood along with some particle wood board type.. As seen in the pics, the base is still very sturdy but can certainly use some touch-up paint or stain from swelling and age related wear.. Great for a photo prop!All 100% Original, 100% Complete, with 100% Original Paint..

Finally!, a full-sized carousel horse we can all afford!..

Hello everyone!.. :)
I've researched this horse a bit more and found out "Buttercup" is made of fiberglass and hollow..
She is ~ between 50 - 100 lbs. Hard to say as I do not have a scale..
Further review says she is most likely from the 1960's, but unsure..
Several customers have asked to see the bottom of her hoofs for certain marking and such. I do have pics of the bottom of her hoofs if you like me to send to you (I don't have any more room on this sale to post pics as 12 is the max).
