Here we have an Original Civil War Letter, Written by a U.S. Soldier to his wife.This letter was written at Camp Jefferson, Bacon Creek, Kentucky, Jan. 23,1862.The soldier who wrote the letter was named Rob, he speaks of missing his wife andtells her how the Bishop ministers to the the Generals of the 10th Ohio, etc., etc.This is a great letter from a soldier far from home and his wife, written on very nicestationary and is in excellent condition for it\'s age.
