This original handpainted cel of Babies Piggy, Kermit, Gonzo, Rowlf, Fozzie, Scooter, Skeeter,Animal, Bunsen and Beaker are matched to the original painted background thatwas used in the making of Jim Henson’s Muppet Babies. These originals are oneof a kind that was used in the filming of this award winning television series.MuppetBabieswas a criticalsuccess during its time on the air: the show won four consecutiveDaytime EmmysforOutstandingAnimated Program,1985–88, and won aHumanitasPrizefor Children\'sAnimation in 1985.

Included with thisimportant cel setup is a Certificate of Authenticity from the multiple Emmywinning Producer and Director of Muppet Babies: Bob Richardson. This rarecollectible cel setup is from Mr. Richardson’s personal collection and is invery good condition.

The episode that hadthis cel setup in it - “Musical Muppets,” was written by the key Writer JeffScott and first aired November 2, 1985. Rowlf enters a song writing contest,which inspires all the Muppet Babies to try their hand at song writingincluding Bunsen and Beaker.
