These original handpainted cels of Babies Piggy, Gonzo, Rowlf, Fozzie, Scooter and Skeeter, arematched to the original painted background that was used in the making of JimHenson’s Muppet Babies. These originals are one of a kind that was used in thefilming of this award winning television series. Muppet Babieswas a critical success during itstime on the air: the show won four consecutiveDaytime EmmysforOutstandingAnimated Program,1985–88, and won aHumanitasPrizefor Children\'sAnimation in 1985.

Included with thisimportant cel setup is a Certificate of Authenticity from the multiple Emmywinning Producer and Director of Muppet Babies: Bob Richardson. This rarecollectible cel setup is from Mr. Richardson’s personal collection and is invery good condition.

The episode that had thiscel setup in it - “What’s New In The Zoo?” was written by the key Writer JeffScott and first aired November 9, 1985. The babies tell Rowlf the positivethings about zoos, but when Gonzo realizes that there is no way of telling whatkind of animal he is, he worries that he’ll get thrown in the zoo.

Cel size is roughly 9 inches high by 10 ¼ inches wide. Background is roughly 10 incheshigh by 11 3/4 inches wide.
