For sale is a nice old RAF Clock probably used during ww II. I purchased it from an estate sale of a retired American officer who had been stationed over seas. The wood frameand box have nice patina. The clock is being sold as is for parts or repair. I do not know anything about these clocks so please check out the photos carefully and ask any questions that you may havebefore buying. I am not sure if the clock mechanism is original or not so I will leave that up to you to decide. The clock does not keep time, but when the mechanism is turned with the key, the little bar does move back and forth. the pendulum is definitely not right as the stem had been broken and someone glued it back together at a shorter length so it does not extend down below the bottom of the box. the pendulum has (A4024, 15\", Japan) on it. The pendulum is actually now only about 9 and 1/2 inches long. There is a missing latch where the glass frame goes down to be closed (see picture 8). There are 4 wooden pins that hold the box together. 3 are the same and 1 is different. thanks for looking.
