This listing is for a Samuel Marti crystal regulator antique clock. I did quite a bit of research on this piece and believe it to date to the early 1900\'s although hard to believe by looking at the cosmetic condition. Really nice for age in my opinion. Has a real mercury pendulum that is missing the nut at the bottom but the pendulum does stay in place.Has 4 beveled glass pieces with the sides and the front being bowed. Movement is marked \"A1, France\" and has the Samuel Marti stamp as well. The inside of the doors are marked with what looks like 80 on the horizontal part and 90 on the vertical part. Not having a key, I used one of my own and found the clock to be almost fully wound. Started it and it ran great for 8 hours with the pleasant sounding strike SOMETIMES working, now after 8 hours running it stopped and will run for only a few minutes. Wouldn\'t think much wrong with it but I\'m not an expert so will leave any repairs up to the new owner. That being said we are selling the clock needing repairs. Cosmetically it shows a little age on the top and on the inside of the bottom. Inside of the base has some scratches in the finish. Not perfect but very nice. There is a repairmans tag on the bottom showing it was serviced in 2001. There are no cracks to any of the glass panels and the dial looks perfect as well. The pendulum vials are also perfect. About 10 1/2\" tall, 7 5/8\" wide and 6 1/4\" deep. I will make sure to pack this item well. Insurance required and included in the ship cost.Thank you for viewing.
