My father is good friends with the founder of Jimmy\'z surf clothing company, Jim Ganzer. When Jim first came up with the idea of surf shorts with comfortable velcro instead of a button that digs into your skin while surfing, he gave my dad a pair of his first prototype. This was before he even had the name Jimmy\'z. I also have up for sale a 1984 pair of his production shorts.
