This listing is for a stunning early American pair of miniature portraits on paper, no doubt of a husband and wife. We acquired them about 20 years ago and were told they came out of an old stone home in New Jersey near Philadelphia. They are in their original frames with original curved glass. In the frame they measure about 2.5 by 2 inches (not including the hanging loop). Condition is exceptional.
