Rare Pair of 19th C Solid Silver Figural Deer Burma Betel Nut Boxes:

These figural betel nut boxes are in the form of deer decorated with floral designs. They date from the 19th Century and have tested solid silver. The smallest measures approximately 5 + ½ inches at it’s highest point and 5 + 3/8 inches at it’s widest point. The largest measures approximately 5 + 5/8 inches at it’s highest point and 5 + ½ inches at it’s longest point. Together they weigh approximately 17.17 troy ounces. They are in excellent condition with the exception of some tarnish and one has an M scratched on the inside.
