RARE Pope Johannes XXIII Medal Pont Max Terra Grotte Vaticane Roncalli Relic?:

This is a small 5/8\" dia. medal of Pope John the Twenty-third. The front words are Johannes XXIII Pont Max. At the bottom are small letters which I believe are CDF and Italy. The back of the medal has a raised center, circled by the words \"Terra Grotte Vaticane\" which I believe refers to the grotto \"caves\" beneath the Vatican. Pope John 23rd was initially buried there. Possibly the medal contains a relic. The raised center is somewhat opaque, and while I have tried to scrape it off a bit, I don\'t want to damage it. If anyone has seen this before or has information, please englighten me. Thanks.
