Offering this rare Royal Doulton MATSUMAI 10 1/4\" dinner plate with a flow blue longhorn cattle / cows design. The Matsumai pattern dates from the late 1890\'s to early 1900\'s and typically has a central floral design and floral border with a Imari influence. There is a faint signature \"S. Wilson\" on the plate. Samuel Wilson was a well known artist working at Royal Doulton from 1880 - 1909.

Overall condition of the plate is excellent, with no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs. I don\'t see any signs of wear/utensil marks. The gold detail on the edge and border shows minimal to no signs of wear.
