A rare Royal Doulton American Foxhound Figurine, #HN2526. The standing figure of this handsome black, brown and white dog was issued from 1938-1952 and is beautifully hand painted with the appropriate marking and Royal Doulton emblem on the bottom of the feet. The figure is considered to be the smaller size. As you can see there are two Royal Doulton marks on two of the feet, and on another front foot is the number 2526. There must not have been enough room for the HN. It measures approx. 4 1/4\" tall, and approx 5\" long. I looked at it through a magnifying glass and there are no chips or cracks. These are very hard to find so offer now and offer often! I could not find this smaller size anywhere on the Internet. The large one and medium do come up every once in awhile.
