For sale is a superb set of six cups and saucers made by Sevres in 1947. Each cup and saucer is hand painted with their famous deep cobalt blue color with small gold flowers and leaves scattered throughout as well as a gold trim to the edges. A stunning color combination and rare to find a set of six! Nice handle shape as well! Each set is in perfect condition which is always a plus and all pieces are marked underneath as shown with the green Sevres mark with the year code underneath, the red Dore a Sevres gilders mark as well as the artist initials and the usual incised marks common to Sevres pieces of this period. The saucers are 0.875 inches tall and 5 inches in diameter. The cups are 2.5 inches tall and 2.5 inches in diameter.
