Rare Hunkydory Small Carousel Tin 1985 Dana Kubick
This small little carousel tin from Hunkydory is not something you see very often. The delightful artwork is from Dana Kubick, and you can turn the top part with your hand to simulate the carousel turning. Dates to 1985, and was made in England.
The vintage wear and patina includes some small/tiny areas of wear, some small/light scratches and scuffs, handling marks, some soiling, a couple minor dents/dings, etc. Metal rims have darkened completely, giving the tin a bit of a vintage look. Some small but more noticeable areas of wear on green platform where carousel has made contact from turning. A little bit of darkening around interior crevice. Some dark patina starting on bottom. Base and platform seem firmly attached, and tin opens and closes fine.
Again, condition issues of note:
· No serious condition issues of note, but the sum of it all gives the tin a bit of a vintage look.
Approximate size of tin is about 3.75” in diameter at very bottom where it is widest, by about 3.5” tall.
The tin is empty.
