Extremely Rare Antique Christopher Dresser Solid Silver Two Piece Bon-Bon Dish, circa 1881

A magnificent and very rare Antique Christopher Dresser Solid Silver Double Bon-Bon Dish with gilt interior andhandlewrapped with cane. Agreat exampleofChristopherDresser\'s avant-garde design. Hallmarkedsolid silver (we have only ever seen silver plated examples), with the initials C.B.E.P - Charles Belk & E. Parkin for Roberts & Belk of Sheffield, Furnival Works, 1881. There are also additional jewellers marks on the base.

In excellent originalcondition-magnificent quality with gilt interior - worthy of museum presence as this is the only SOLID SILVER example we have seenof this registered Dresser design that isnormally produced in silver plate.
