Rare & Stunning Mountain Rose, Vintage Quilt, 1930s. Very Nice Condition:

Thisstunning Mountain Rose quilt is a generous72 x 82 inches in size.

The fabrics are all cotton. The colors reflect the 1930\'s era when it was likelycreated:Nile green, deep pink, off-white and a charming soft green calico print used for the flowers.

Nice thin cotton batting - or possibly a light weight blanket between the front and back.. This quilt lays flat and looks great on a bed!

The binding is green - turned from the front border and hand stitched closed on the back.

Nice widetriple green and white borders to frame the Mountain Rose pattern .

Expertly hand quilted at approximately 8 SPI.

The condition is excellent. I do not believe that this quilt saw very much use. No rips, tears or stains. No fraying or feathering on the binding. On close examinationI did see a few small /lightspots
