Let me introduce myself and also maintain radio silence for privacy which seems to be a fleeting concept today. Recently had to clean out my dear mothers House/Estate due to cancer as she needed to find other dwelling. Was a job that was not fun!! I collected things that i felt would bring the joy and meaning to others that it did for me. Mom said don\'t forget your dads police stuff? (Not a chance!)My Dad spent 50 years on the job.No typo 50 years most seniority in the history of the dept. since 1784 AD. He was a dedicated Police Officer and even better a servant of humanity using his gut instinct and Personal Judgement with every situation. This was the good ole days when cops could be cops and kids respected a officer of the law. Seems nowadays a cop is the one who is handcuffed ? Sad times. I pray for your safety and strength in the times we live in today! BLUE LIVES ALSO MATTER! Ahh.. Looks like im ranting again could go on forever,anyway my friends book mark me ive got some great stuff coming up for sale. Patches, night sticks, insignia, and other, etc....Obviously some items ive kept for myself... his first 1954 shield and other items, which will become a tribute in my house with pride!! stay safe out there, come home to your wife/husband,and kids. Info on patches..My dad started collecting Police patches from all 50 states for decades, also Federal Government, Indian Reservations, Foreign Police Departments, large and small municipalities everywhere! I now estimate i have over 7000 patches, all Police! Most are in excellent shape as pics show. (There maybe some older ones that saw service and have been sewn i will try to do my best to inform you of this please view pics with zoom. (I want all to be happy!) Dad put these in plastic filed away and organized by state as i knew him to do with anything of value to his 50 years of service! He was a legend with The Baltimore City Police Department. Hope i have something for a collector Cop where ever you live! This is also my tribute to him he would want his Cop shop items to find their way to his brothers!
