This clock is a very very nice unusual french Art Deco 8 day striking mantel clock, it has its amazing look to it all in great condition for ageCase is constructed from a good quality cast metal with two lady figures to either side and various fruits to the centre, the case has a bronzed colour finish to the metal which gives a superb display lookThe case has a superb very rare design which looks absolutely superb on display, the case is in excellent undamaged conditionThe clock has a large pink marble base which the main case sits on, it is in excellent undamaged conditionIt has a beautiful porcelain dial with arabic numerals, the dial is in superb original condition with original filigree hands protected by its glass and hinged bezel doorThe clock has an 8 day french bell striking movement with an anchor escapement, the movement is in full working order keeping good time and striking the bell exactly how it should and comes with its french pendulum and a new winding keyThe clock measures 12 inches high x 22.5 inches wide x 6.5 inches deepThis is a beautiful display piece and an extremely rare art deco designed mantle clock which i am sure you would agree looks absoultely fantastic wherever it is displayedApprox Date: 1920
