This is an Edwardian period toilet pottery chain pull handle, with advertising for \"J. Bootherstone, Sanitary Plumber, Buxton\".A nice item for the family history archive of J (John) Bootherstone\'s family. He is listed in Kelly\'s Directory of 1912 under Plumbers & Glaziers at 11 South Ave. & Torr Street, Buxton. In the 1911 census he was living at 11 South Ave., aged 55 and widowed, with his children John, Harriet, and Mary Ellen.

Condition isgood except for chips to the pottery under the chainattachment ring. There is no chain.
