I found an old 1940 video on the internet showing him demonstrating the art of sandcasting in which he appeared to be in his early 30\'s. According to Billie Hougart\'s NATIVE AMERICAN & SOUTHWESTERN SILVER HALLMARKS p. 51, his signature is identified as S B with the S slightly higher than the B, as is the case with this bracelet. I mention all of this because I see items listed which are attributed to Sam Begay with the initials S.B. (rather then S B) & even the website Art-Amerindien.com indicates S.B. as his signature. Perhaps S.B. is a relative or one of his children but I\'m sure that it isn\'t THE Sam Begay.
