A wonderful and rare late Victorian micro mosaic drop pendant on chain.

This would likely have been a \'Grand Tour\' souvenir piece brought back from Italy.

The pendant features a pretty pink celluloid cameo of a lady to the centre, with micro mosaic frame surround and two matching tear drops suspended beneath it.

Mounted on a 17\" long gilt metal chain (including fittings). Fastens with simple hook catch.

The pendant has a diameter of 2.5cm and drop length of 4cm.

In good antique condition; The chain has darkened with age, only minor wear to gilding at back of pendant.

Not seen one of these with a cameo before. A very nice period pendant necklace.
