Rare Vintage 1926 Towle SterlingSilver Bowl *Patent 1926* *Pattern 52191*Upfor offer is this rare 10¼ inch diameter sterling silver bowl patented in 1926 byTowle Silversmiths in pattern number 52191 which I was unable to crossreference. It is very close to the Towle “Louis XIV” pattern from 1919 butapparently not an exact match.Thisitem is marked “sterling” on the bottom with the company hallmark, the patternnumber of “52191”, “Patented April 20, 1926”, and “By Towle” engraved on thebottom by the manufacturer. This pre-owned tray does show signs of normal wearsuch as minor scratches, abrasions, and tarnish spots that may beprofessionally removed. There is one small dent and some dings that could alsobe removed and it is not bent or misshapen. It is in very good pre-ownedcondition with the following specifications:

·10¼ inch diameter

·4½ base diameter

·Approximately 1¾ inches tall

·Weight: 317 grams (10.2 troy oz.)
