Up for offers is a rare 1950\'s Mid Century Modern art pottery lamp and planter combination with two swimming fish as seen in the pictures. I do not know the maker. I have had single fish planters similar to these fish that were made by McCoy but since this lamp is not marked I can\'t say for sure who made it. The lamp stands 7 1/4\" high and measures 10 1/2\" long by 3 1/2\" wide across the bottom of the base. There are two very tiny glaze chips on the top rim edge of the back fish as seen in the last picture. There is also some age crazing in the glaze if you look very close. Otherwise the lamp / planter is in nice working condition with no other problems. I have been buying and selling antiques and pottery for over forty years and this is the first time I have ever had or seen in person one of these lamps so I think it is safe for me to say these lamps are rare or at least very very hard to find. Being sold as pictured and described so please ask any questions you may have before you place a offer.
