Inside of box is a Vintage John Poole clock used as a Chronometer.The wooden box itself is not only inpristinecondition but also has very nice authentic cherry wood with a smooth finish. The interior of box has dark green velvet interior on the backing.
Clock functions perfectly!
Measures 5 3/4 in wide by 3 in tall, hinged lid. In great condition, minor wear to brass & wood,no chips or defects.
The internal wind clock was retrofitted with a quartz fitting allowing the clock to work on it\'s on for longer periods of time with a single AA battery. Clock works perfect.
