Wonderful, vintage and rare Louis wallet to find! Adore the Saks Fifth Avenue private labeled pieces ..... like this handsome piece! NO ONE ELSE WILL HAVE A PIECE LIKE IT! Always feels nice to pull a luxury wallet from your jacket pocket, brifecase or handbag! This piece has tons of storage - a size and scale that makes quite a statement....a piece you\'ll absolutely LOVE! Amazingly rare - did I already say that?! This lovely piece was manufactured for Louis Vuitton by the French Luggage Company of California. A bit of interesting LV history...they collaborated with luxury luggage company French Company of California and licensed them to create pieces to keep up with the high demand for LV pieces in the United States....this was in the 1970\'s through about the 1990\'s. Pieces were distributed through high end retailers such as Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, I Magnin.....along with other luxury luggage boutiques.....some pieces were private labeled others not....this one IS - see picture! So, due to the limited time they were produced, pieces crafted by French are highly sought after for their different qualities and of course, rarity! AUTHENTIC as always - have fun researching these vintage pieces...quite a bit of history available online, and sadly, Boutique employees often have no knowledge of their brands interesting history!!! This piece is just wonderful! Measures 7 x 4.5\" approx. Inside has lots of organizational options for it\'s size. 8 slip pockets of various sizes, plus a pull out snap piece. Room for your passport, debit card, currency etc. When open - the top is open - like another larger pocket - perfect to keep receipts etc. All presents fantastic - rarely ever carried - looks almost as new. Has been kept stored nicely and always pampered. The snap closure is strong and tight. The LV Monogram presents super nicely...vivid and crisp...strong - a couple small scuffs. Inside lined in tanned leather - all strong and shows very nice. Saks Fifth Avenue is embossed on the lower left - pictured. Stitching tight. All very gorgeous on a rare, classic wallet that is over 40 years \"young\"! Has tons to offer for years and years ahead! LV Quality is legendary. Crafted to last and last. Pretty luxury wallet!
