38Piece Rare Make/ Pattern Sterling Silver Flatware Set
origin appears to be Mexico as hallmarks/stamps are as follows:all stamped \"STERLING \" (except on knives) and\"0935 \" in a rectangular outline...the four place/oval soup spoons, the ladle and the large flared serving fork
are also stamped \"CUMEX MADE IN MEX.\"All pieces, except for the eight knives are solid sterling silver pieces.
Knives have sterling hollow handles (with \"0935 \" mark as shown )
and their blades are marked \" CUMEX S.A. INOXIDABLE\" .Please view all 12 photos.Includes eight each of the following:9-3/4\" Knives
8-1/8\" Fork
nearly 7-1/4\" Salad Fork
8-1/4\" table serving spoon ( 2-3/4\" X 1-3/4\" bowls)
In addition, there are also four 7-1/4\" Place/Oval Soup Spoons
which are most close in size to an average tablespoon
( 2-3/8\" X 1-1/2\" bowls). There is one 7-5/8\" Gravy Ladle
and one 9-1/8\" Flared Serving Fork.
This set is in very good condition. It is a nice pre-owned vintage item
with your usual normal wear and use. Fade/wear of many of the hallmarks.The set has been fully tested and is guaranteed to be sterling silver.
Not overall tarnished, yet has spots andpatina with a
few dark tarnish spots as the set has been stored away and will
need to be cleaned and/or polished prior to use or presentation.
Total Weight of Set = 2,435 grams. This weight including the kniveswhich weigh 689 grams and then all the remaining solid sterlingpieces which are a total of 1,746 grams) .
