This vintage belt buckle has been beautifully crafted by Pima silversmith Alvin Sosolda. It shows a very attractive silver on silver Sunface design with an intricately etched background. The buckle measures 2 3/4\" across and 2\" tall. It weighs 39.3 grams or 1.4 ounces. The silver loop at the back will fit a belt up to 1\" wide. It has been signed with Alvin\'s distinctive Pima stylized man hallmark and stamped sterling. This buckle has a rich silver patina from age and is in great vintage condition.Alvin is a listed artist who began working in the 1980s. He is known for his beautiful silver on silver or what is referred to as silver overlay work such as this belt buckle.
