In the early 1960\'s Steiff and FAO Schwartz collaborated on a number of animal \"families in a basket\". Steiff made these mohair poodles and then FAO Schwartz decorated them and attached them to their cushions. This is the Snobby family of two parents and two children in a wicker basket.

The basket is 13.5\' x 10\". It is stamped West Germany on the bottom and is in excellent condition with no breaks or splinters.
The basket is decorated with red ribbons on both sides. There is minimal fading and some drooping.
The two parent dogs have red collars with the Steiff original marker labeled Snobby.
The two small dogs have red ribbon bows around their necks. These ribbons appear to be an orange-red color.
The mother Snobby wears a floral headpiece. Part of the largest flower appears to have slight discolorations.
All four poodles are completely intact without any stains or missing parts.
The cushion is clean and in good condition with no fading.
This is an odor-free vintage Steiff set.
