Rare Vintage Zuni set by Robert & Bernice Leekya: Bolo, Wristwatch and Buckle :

This is a rareset of three vintage Zuni pieces of jewelry.All pieces are signed RLB and are by Robert and Bernice Leekya, they are well known and highly collectible Zuni silversmiths. These pieces were bought in the late 60\'s and early 70\'s by Clyde & GraceNida (Uncle& Aunt) when they lived in Apache Junction, AZ. Robert & Bernice Leekyaare known for their use of Kingman Turquoise, Sleeping Beauty Mine Turquoise, and large branches of coral.It is my understanding they are retired.The Bolo Tie is 3\"x3 1/4\". The two pieces at the end of the woven tieare each3 1/2\" long. The total length of the leather part of the tie is 34\". The bolo weighs 87.4 grams. The Wristwatch features a Caravelle, water resistant, Self winding watch inset into a silver band with Kingman turquoise stone and large coral branches. The watch weights 140 grams and the sides have different designs (see photo). The buckle is 3 1/2 inches x2 5/8inches and weighs124.9 grams. One of the turquoise stones has a crack and a chip. the rest of the stones and coral branches are not damaged.We also have listed another vintage piece of jewelry by J. Quam.
