RARE - Vintage 1940\'s U.S. ZONE GERMANY Tin Windup MONKEY on Tricycle in MINT CONDITION with original key as shown in our photos. This cute little tin toy after winding up scoots across the floor with the monkey\'s feet pedaling up and down on the tricycle pedals with his hinged arms move back and forth turning the front wheel of the tricycle in circles. An adorable little tin monkey with colorful red, blue and yellow pants and jacket. He has his original tin ears and bright red cap with yellow tassel. The front on the tin tricycle is marked ARNOLD on the emblem. The tin toy measures 3 1/2\" long, stands 4\" high and is 2\" wide. It has the original tin key. The bottom is clearly stamped MADE IN GERMANY U.S. ZONE while printed on the base it reads Foreign - Germany D.R. PATENT ANG. D.R. G.M. Patents Applied for in England U.S.A. and France. This remarkable little tin toy functions perfectly after winding and is absolutely just as nice as it was in the 1940\'s.....Look far and wide and you\'ll be pressed to fine a nicer example....This is an outstanding U.S. Zone Germany Tin Windup Toy that will make a sensational addition for someone\'s collection.
