WW1Zeiss Wien (Austria) steel tube military tripod in very good usable condition.

There are traces of the original green military paint. The internal brass leg extensions are intact and the locks work perfectly.

The leather dust collar is intact. The brass ball on top still moves smoothly and locks tightly

The top opening tightens to 20mm accepting most optical instruments.

Rugged yet weighs only approx. 7 1/2 lbs.Approx. 33 1/4\" long. Extends to maximum 57 3/4 \".

The legs fold out from the post to about 45 degrees where there is a built in stop preventing them from collapsing.

Very strong. You can safely display WW1 optics,15x60 telescope, and various rangefinders. Shown in the pictures with an early Scherenfernrohr (rangefinder).
