Rare WWI Royal Flying Corp Silk Needlework Badge & History
Measuring 7\" x 9\" inclusive of its original oak frame and mount, this is a rare World War One Royal Flying Corps hand-worked silkwork postcard inscribed underneath \'John Hall 7 Sqd. 1918.\' All I have been able to find out is that he was either a pilot or observer under the command of Captain B E Sutton and 7 Squadron was stationed in Belgium and then France between 1917 - 18. The silkwork is in excellent, unfaded condition.
