This is a beautiful Yaacov Agam Agamograph.  This fantasy/optical rendition created on lenticular screens with overlapping lithography.  This rare early production piece was gifted to a former employee/friend of agams and is a pre production piece made before they were put into production.  I also have a few others bought from the estate along with signed books and photographs.  This piece features 4 different images that change depending on where you stand.  Very very rare.  Size is appx.  22\" X 24\" and ready to be framed.  Shipping with insurance will cost appx. $30.

This is a beautiful artwork that will add to the ambiance of any home or office.  Do not miss this opportunity to own an authentic work by one of Pop Art\'s Op Masters, Yaacov Agam.  Here is a little information about the artist.

Yaacov Agam (1928- ):  Born in Israel, Agam is the highest selling Israeli artist in history.  While he has a global and classical art education he was much more influenced by experimental art and ultimately noted as a founding father of the kinetic art movement. As people began to appreciate the role the kinetic art movement played in art history, Agam’s work has continued to increase in value and popularity. Agam believed that kinetic art forced the audience to question their pre-conceived notions about how an audience interacts with art. Agam was seeking a better way to connect to the audience within the constraints of traditional art. He has become famous for his original printing technique, known as an “Agamograph.” This technique uses ones perspective to present a series of varied images depending on the angle the image is observed. Agam’s 1969 masterpiece Complex Vision shows this technique implemented on a massive 30 foot by 30 foot scale.   While Agam may have created art to aid him on his own spiritual journey, his original concept was embraced be art enthusiasts everywhere. Likely his best known piece was created in 1987 at the Whaling Wall in Jerusalem. It was created to honor the victims of the holocaust. His dynamic sculptures and three dimensional paintings can also be found at the Smithsonian in Washington D.C., the Parliament in Strasbourg, and at JFK airport.
