This book is a first edition printed in1994 by The Complete Sportsman, in Millis, MA. It is a hard coveredin blue cloth with gilt lettering. It is a huge volume in folio sizemeasuring 11-1/2 x 14-⅜inches. Itencompasses 286 pages with a foreword by Eric Leiser. This stunningwork is profusely illustrated in full color. Thecover isprotected with a mylarcover andwasphotographed with that cover over the dust jacket.

Thisbook is awe inspiring in the realm of color photos and illustrations,yet loaded with incredible ornithological and zoological information.A majority of the flies were tied by Paul Schmookler himself withcontributions by Mark Waslick and other well known tiers. Theillustrations were photographed by Robert Rohonczy. Both PaulSchmookler Ingrid Sils photographed the materials and flies.

Thisamazing book also includes a complete index to the patterns picturedin the text. This book is one of a kind and should be in everyserious salmon fly tiers’ or collectors’ library.

BookCondition: Ihave listed this book in \"Very Good\" condition only becauseI found some barely discernible yellowing on the top surface of the interior of somepage edges. Not all pages are affected this way. The ends of the pages are notyellowed. Otherwise, the rest of thebook has tight bindings, corners, spine, pages and dustcover that arein excellent and unmarked condition.

Returns~I do accept returned items, but all items must be returned in the same condition as when they were when shipped to the buyer. I will also accept items for return if the buyer finds that the item is not what they expected, or there are fit or color/fit issues, etc. I will refund the price of the item and the original shipping cost that the buyer paid. The buyer pays for return shipping to me. All returns are done as \'money back\'.
