Antique “AUTO KAR” All-Wooden RIDE-ON Child’s Toy

Circa 1930s

Description:

All wood construction. Exceedingly rare and appealing antique Ride-on toy likely dating around the 1930s. Painted red body, black seat marked, \"Auto Kar,\" in period script. Wooden wheels and woodenoperating steering wheel turns front wheels with a dowel and hook mechanism (see close-up photos).

Dimensions: Length is 31”. Height is 14” tall. Width of wheelbaseis 7-1/2”.

Condition: Some color loss and paint fade as comes with age and use; Wooden dowel-rod foot rest is missing (see hole); Both original rear wheels at some time replaced with an old-time repair/replacement. Please refer to multiple close-up photo details provided to determine your own personal assessment of condition.
