Pretty rare to find antique Peg Wooden doll, dating from 1860s-1880s,having peg joints at the shoulders, elbows, hips and knees, lower limbs are painted in white,
feet used to be painted in pink to represent the shoes, but now paint is almost gone,
torso is carved of a single piece of wood,original painted features: black hair, blue eyes with black eyebrows, red lips,
pronounced nose made of wooden wedge slotted into the face.Doll is wearing antique muslin dress with laces, which is showing some general wear and yellowing.
Doll is approx. 12 1/2\" (31,5 cm)Condition - in good original antique condition with slight general wear.Please feel free to ask more information or/and pictures.
