This offering is an antique folk art bird cage. The cage features an unusual ball shaped design suspended within a fanciful arc, allowing the cage to rotate on it\'s axis. Suspended within the cage is a swinging perch The overall height is app. 19\" and the cage ball itself measures app. 11\" in diameter. The bird cage retains nearly 100% of it\'s original painted surface in wonderful condition with only very minor wear. I seriously doubt the cage was used much if it was ever used at all. The original wire latch is missing from the door and there is a slight warp to the base but those are the only noteworthy flaws worth noting.
